with this activity including member registry, booking player tee times, scheduling
tournaments, tournament scoring, staff and player messaging, and more.
ProLink is accessed from a pro shop computer or may be operated by a
field unit. A user-friendly function portal is accessed by entering a
user name and password.

ProLink
can be used to track players on the
course. This will resolve slow play issues and negate the need for marshalls constantly
driving around the course to monitor play. The system will show where bottlenecks are,
which can then be resolved by either sending a text message to the slow group, or
dispatching a marshall to the appropriate area.

A typical
golf course has many pro-shop
employees and equipment working randomly around the course. Locating them is
time consuming, costly, hard on equipment and lowers work productivity.
The ProLink component allows the pro to review staff or equipment locations
by simply entering a specific PIN number and then seeing exactly where they
are on the course.

ProLink
can be used to monitor equipment
use and indicate when a unit needs to be maintained. The system can be used by
setting either time or distance when a piece of equipment should be serviced.
If a golf cart should be serviced every 200 hours, the system can be set up so
that at 180 hours of operation, a notice is sent that a specific unit needs to
be serviced soon.

may be used to transmit messages
through a pager-type LCD apparatus linked with the Ad Hoc network. This
added feature would allow the pro to communicate specific messages to
employees and players around the course from the pro shop. This system can also
be used by maintenance and the clubhouse to communicate with staff members.

The ProLink
platform can be used by the pro-shop
to monitor inventory. When items are sold they are deleted from inventory using
software developed for ProLink. The pro sets re-ordering quantities
so that when a specified number of a particular item is sold, it generates a
purchase order automatically.
