Once a
GolfLink
wireless local area network (WLAN) is in place, a variety of commumication options will be
available, such as locating friends and family, text messaging, flag locating, stats &
handicap registry, and more. A MyGolf
user-fee plan may be suitable for some golfers, while others
may opt for a more robust network. A variety of hosting plans are available as described below.
You will have access to an aerial map of the course that you can use to locate those in your
private network, send them a message or look up their contact information.

The functions
are quite robust and may even extend off the golf course. A WLAN package will be available for
home use that allow for security camera activation and much more.
If your PDA contains one of our wireless tags, it may be used in any available WLAN that you
own, or are a subscriber to. Eventually, whole cities will become WLAN's and thus will be able to
offer linkage in a larger area.

WLAN does not rely on cell or satellite signals and is therefore is not affected by weather
