with the times. We currently go to exhaustive and time-consuming measures to track student
attendance, and have been looking for a way to resolve this issue. Enter
EduLink Network Solutions.
EduLink's
radio frequency (RF) technology is 100% independent and foolproof. The technology does not rely
on cell or satellite signals, or any other energy source. Each "tag" has its own battery
and antenna that relays information to a central computer.
Once implemented, an area becomes a wireless local area network (WLAN), thus
offering many types of communications, including an advanced real time locating system
(RTLS). For this application, the RTLS is used for student attendance monitoring. Each
student will carry or wear a tag similar to the one shown, which will register when
they come onto the property. It can also be set up to monitor classroom attendance.
